Accompanists (Past and Present)

Our choir(s) can’t function smoothly without these talented people playing alongside us, directing us in sectionals, and sharing their talents with instruments.

Dr. Amy Hendricks (Fall 2016 – Present)

Amy is a multi-instrumentalist and full-time Internal Medicine physician at St. Martha’s Regional Hospital. We are lucky to share some of her limits free moments away from the hospital. Amy adds her talents to our concerts with accompany and solo performances on piano, viola, violin, and organ (just to name a few). She is also a founding member of The Rose Trio ensemble (originally a Quartet) which has performed during ACE concerts as well as other venues locally.

Dr. Carrie-Ellen Gabriel (2015- 2017)

Carrie-Ellen is a Doctor of Philosophy, an aquatic chemist, educator, and musician who accompanied Antigonish Choral Ensemble for a couple seasons while she was working as a lecturer at St Francis Xavier University.
